Sharon Minemoto Quartet
with
Jon Bentley saxophones,
Bernie Arai drums and
Darren Radtke bass
The Sharon Minemoto Quartet has been Minemoto's main creative outlet for the past three years with the band performing her original arrangements and compositions. Her writing is of a highly melodic style coupled with fresh, innovative harmonic ideas. Minemoto's studies with Renee Rosnes and Kenny Werner have strongly influenced the direction her writing has taken.

SiMmeR
SiMmeR is an exciting Vancouver based trio with Sharon Minemoto on
keyboard Matt Reid on bass and Richard Brown on drums. Each band member brings a wealth of experience and stylistic diversity: from jazz to soul, reggae, drum and bass and beyond. The influence of jazz greats Herbie Hancock and Miles Davis, and the legendary sounds of James Brown, P-Funk, Stevie Wonder and Sly and Robbie, brings the band’s music to realms that push the boundaries of genre. SiMmeR’s eclectic sound is heavy on groove, captivating melodies, and is as organic as the way the project came together.
